This is your opportunity to dig deeper into the issues that not only impact women in India but also those around the world. Engage in one-on-one discussions with the women in nearby communities, share in their traditions and daily life, and build genuine connections with this stunning country and its people. Whether you’re volunteering with a local women’s goat breeding cooperative or helping them prepare a traditional meal, this trip is a firsthand look at the issues around women and girls’ education, health care and income opportunities.

Good to know: This trip is ideal for participants ages 16 to 22 years old to increase their awareness and understanding of women’s issues, both in India and around the world. Please note that this trip is an all-girls experience.

TRIP PLUS FLIGHT OPTION INCLUDES: Round-trip airfare from select pre-determined airports (when arranged by ME to WE). Specific trip dates include details about departure airports when booking. Also included: accommodations while on the ground, three meals daily, bottled and/or purified water, and entrance fees to activities.

In addition, language lessons, volunteer placement activities, and leaderships training (including comprehensive action planning) are provided. You will also have access to a facilitator, who is available 24 hours a day, as well as a 24-hour emergency service.

Not included: travel medical insurance, passport and visa fees, any additional flights needed to get to group flight departures, or additional baggage fees.
