After a week of basking in the shade of acacia trees with local mamas and working alongside community members on a development project, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through the breathtaking savanna of the Maasai Mara. Trip Itinerary

    Arrive in Nairobi

    Meet your ME to WE facilitator and check-in to the Four Points Sheraton Hotel.

  • 2

    Visit the Kenya Giraffe Centre

    and David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Then catch your flight from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara and arrive at Bogani. Later, explore a local primary school in a nearby community.

  • 3

    Meet local mamas

    and join them for a community water walk. Afterward, visit their boma, or homestead, to learn about their daily tasks. Then work on a sustainable development project alongside community members.

    Visit the Baraka Hospital

    Head out to visit an authentic Kenyan market. Then roll up your sleeves and get ready to help build a new school before visiting Baraka Hospital to learn firsthand from the doctors and nurses about the impact access to quality health care has made on the surrounding communities.

    Meet local mamas

    Spend some more time on the build-site working on the development project. In the afternoon, join local mamas to learn about the art of beading and learn how they’re each earning a sustainable income through traditional artisan projects.

    Visit Oleleshwa farm

    to see the impact of WE Charity’s Food Pillar on the local community. Plant some trees in memory of your visit to Bogani and then meet the Girls at Kisaruni Secondary School. Finally, enjoy a leisurely hike as you learn about medicinal herbs from a local Maasai warrior.

    Begin your Safari Adventure

    Depart Bogani and enjoy a scenic drive through the Maasai Mara as you make your way to your safari lodge and enjoy sunset safari.

    Embark on a sunrise safari!

    Take a morning drive through the Maasai Mara to look for giraffes, lions, elephants, hippos and buffalos, and some of our favourites, the more common Thomson’s gazelle and resident zebra herds.

    Depart for Nariobi

    Stay at the Four Points Sheraton for a day room to relax and recharge before taking your international flight home.
